Andover Expo 2010

The LightsOnce again TWA is creating and promoting the Andover Business Expo. Last year’s event was the first B2B Expo for over 20 years and was an outstanding success.
Find out more and how you can be there – click here.

The Andover Expo will be on the 17th March at The Lights and this year visitors will be able to meet and listen to Karren Brady, the new star of The Apprentice and one of the most influential businesswomen in the UK today. With the support of North Hampshire Enterprise, TWA have been able to provide this once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from a real master of the business world and at the same time benefit from a years membership to one of the fastest growing and influential business support groups in the region.

TWA is really pleased that so many of last year’s exhibitors have already booked a stand for the 2010 event and all our supporting organisations are up for it again – so a big thank you to North Hampshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Andover Sound and the West Hampshire Observer.

Networkers get Networking

TWA Networking EventTWA held a second networking lunchtime event for North Hampshire Chamber of Commerce on the 28th May at which Creative Director Edward Thomas gave a presentation on how to get the very best from every networking opportunity.

Networkers found themselves being challenged to make sure they had the necessary skills in order to get the best from every networking opportunity. TWA was able to show the lunchtime networkers a number of tried and tested techniques that together would provide an approach to networking that focuses on making sure that networking events are well worth going to.

Edward Thomas commented “we spent about 3 months researching what actually happens at a networking event and then produced a 5 step plan to make sure that even a networking novice can approach every networking opportunity with confidence” Those who attended the event received a Free Handy Guide to Networking to remind them of the key skills that they should have.

Anyone who could not be there but would like to receive a copy of the TWA Handy Guide to Networking can download one here.

TWA Networking Event 28th May 2009 12PM

ALL YOU EVER WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT NETWORKING BUT WERE AFRAID TO ASK.

We are all aware that “Networking” is one of the key ways to build a business, and many of us are regular attendees starting with a breakfast meeting, a quick lunchtime session and then the early evening slot for the really seasoned networking Olympian.

But do we understand how networking works, and do we have the skills to make networking events work better – not just for us but for everyone there on the day? TWA hopes to show you:

  • How to appreciate that just one effective discussion makes a networking event really valuable if you appreciate just who you are talking to.
  • How to make the best approach to a complete stranger which has never failed to get a positive response.
  • How to play the business card game and always win.
  • What to do when you find someone who can really help your business.
  • What is the little known skill used by the best networkers and how by using it, you can significantly improve how others perceive you and your business.

And if that wasn’t enough, TWA are providing you with a lunch and a special TWA Networking Tool Kit™ to take away.

Book your place now for just £17.00 plus VAT (£19.55).

Simply download and fill in the booking form and return it to us via fax, or email edward.thomas@tw-a.com or chris.crossland@tw-a.com.
